EVA Granule Hot Melt Adhesive is made primarily of EVA, combined with tackifying resins, waxes, antioxidants, and other ingredients. At room temperature, it is a solid granule (milky white or pale yellow, approximately 2-4 mm in diameter). When heated to 160-200℃, it melts into a liquid adhesive, which is applied between the board and the edge banding strip. After cooling and curing, the bond is complete. It is currently the most widely used and cost-effective type of hot melt adhesive in the edge banding field. This product is widely used in the edge banding production of panel wardrobes, cabinets, desks, and other furniture, and is a core auxiliary material for edge banding strips.

• Strong Initial Adhesion: Sufficient initial adhesion is generated after cooling to room temperature following application (setting takes approximately 2-5 seconds). The edge banding strip is not prone to rebound or curling, making it suitable for high-speed production lines.
• Moderate Open Time: The effective bonding window after application is approximately 15-30 seconds (depending on ambient temperature and adhesive application amount), allowing for some operational buffer and adapting to both automatic and manual edge banding.
• Wide Universal Bonding Range: Strongly bonds to common edge banding materials such as PVC, ABS, PP (requires primer), wood veneer, and melamine paper.
• Limited Temperature Resistance: Softening point is approximately 80-100℃; recommended operating temperature is ≤60℃. For high-temperature environments such as near stoves or radiators, PUR adhesive should be used instead.
• Repairability: Edge banding defects (partial delamination, curling) can be repaired using an iron or heat gun, simplifying the process and reducing rework costs.
• Available Colors: Available in a variety of colors including transparent, milky white, light yellow, dark brown, and black, matching the color of the board or edge banding strip and minimizing the visual impact of adhesive lines.

• Low Temperature Adhesive (160-180℃): Suitable for thin edge banding strips (0.4-0.8mm) or heat-sensitive boards (such as PVC foam board), reducing the risk of high-temperature burns.
• Medium Temperature Adhesive (180-190℃): General purpose, suitable for 0.8-1.5mm edge banding strips and conventional particleboard/MDF, the most widely used in the market.
• High Temperature Adhesive (190-210℃): Suitable for thick edge banding strips (1.5-2.0mm) or high-speed edge banding machines (≥25 meters/minute), with good melt flow and higher bonding strength.
• High Viscosity Formula: Suitable for porous boards (such as particleboard, OSB), the adhesive penetrates and fills the micropores on the board surface, improving bonding and anchoring force.
• Low Viscosity Formula: Suitable for high-gloss/mirror-finish edge banding strips, the adhesive layer is thinner and more uniform, reducing the visibility of adhesive lines.
• Anti-aging Formula: Added antioxidants and UV stabilizers to delay thermo-oxidative aging, suitable for export products or long-term furniture.
