Common materials preferred are ABS or PET (both are plasticizer-free and do not produce dioxins when burned), while ordinary PVC should be avoided (inferior PVC may contain harmful plasticizers). Surface finishes are often bright solid colors, cartoon patterns, or light wood grain, matching the lively atmosphere of a children's room. High-quality children's furniture edge banding should also pass specific tests such as GB 28007 "General Technical Requirements for Children's Furniture" or EN 71 (EU Toy Safety Standard).
