Resistant to Moisture and Oil Stains – Designed Specifically for Kitchen Environments

High-Temperature Steam Resistance: Cabinet edges near stovetops and sinks are frequently exposed to high-temperature steam; the edge banding does not soften or bubble in humid environments of 80℃-100℃.
Oil Penetration Resistance: Kitchens are prone to heavy oil fumes; the dense and smooth surface of the edge banding prevents oil stains from easily penetrating, allowing for easy cleaning with a damp cloth.
Resistant to Detergents/Cleaners: Withstands neutral detergents, heavy-duty kitchen cleaners, and other chemical agents; does not fade, corrode, or soften.
Anti-Mold and Antibacterial Treatment: Edge banding with an anti-mold and antibacterial formula is less prone to mold growth in humid environments, making it suitable for areas around the sink.

Strong Bonding and Anti-Warping: Resistant to Temperature and Moisture Expansion

Resistant to Thermal Cycling: Kitchens experience significant temperature differences between winter and summer, requiring matching coefficients of thermal expansion between the edge banding and the board material. PUR hot melt adhesive is recommended for edge banding, as its elasticity prevents cracking under repeated hot and cold temperatures.
Water Resistance and No Delamination: The area around the sink may be in prolonged contact with liquid water. Ordinary EVA adhesive easily emulsifies and peels off when exposed to water; PUR adhesive or laser edge banding does not delaminate when wet, maintaining high bonding strength.
Anti-Warping Design: Cabinet doors are frequently opened and closed (dozens of times daily), making edges prone to warping. Pre-coating the back of the edge banding with a primer or using laser edge banding ensures long-term warping resistance.
Adaptable to Board Moisture Expansion: Commonly used cabinet boards (particleboard, plywood) expand slightly when wet; the edge banding needs to have a certain degree of flexibility to expand and contract synchronously with the board material without chipping.
Edge Banding Process Recommendations: PUR hot melt adhesive or laser edge banding is strongly recommended for kitchen cabinets, as its water and heat resistance is far superior to ordinary EVA adhesive, extending its service life by 3-5 years.
