I. Setting the Blade-to-Board Contact Gap
Manually trigger the solenoid valve to raise the motor, and watch how much the blade bites into the board. Normally, it should take about 2 mm.
If it's biting too deep, loosen the four corner bolts under the end-trimming frame, then shift the whole frame toward you (pull it closer to your body) until the blade just grazes the edgebanding by 2–3 mm.
II. Adjusting the Motor Tilt Angle
Loosen the hex socket screw directly underneath the motor base so the motor can rock left and right slightly.
Gently nudge the motor outward or downward-just a hair, don't overdo it, or you'll end up with gaps in the joint where the edging meets.

III. Squaring the Motor Vertically
Run a board through the first two edges and then the next two, then check the trimming result. If the two sides aren't cut evenly, the motor isn't plumb.
Loosen the four screws that connect the motor mount to the slide block. If it's taking off more on the top face, push the rear end of the motor down a bit; if it's taking off more on the bottom, lift the motor mount up slightly. Tighten everything back down once it's right.
