Standard PVC has a water absorption rate of approximately 0.5%; prolonged exposure to high humidity causes slow moisture absorption, leading to slight dimensional swelling and edge warping. Our waterproof products utilize optimized materials to keep water absorption at an extremely low level. ABS, in particular, has an inherently lower water absorption rate (≤0.1%) and offers superior dimensional stability in high-humidity environments.

Anti-mold and antibacterial agents can be incorporated into the formulation upon request to meet specific procurement needs and pass mold resistance tests. This makes the product ideal for humid areas prone to mold growth-such as under-sink cabinets and bathroom vanity doors-effectively reducing issues like edge blackening and mold formation.

Kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors frequently come into contact with chemical agents such as dish soap, laundry detergent, alcohol, and disinfectants. The surface of our waterproof edge banding is chemically treated to resist corrosion, discoloration, and softening during prolonged exposure, ensuring peace of mind during daily cleaning and maintenance.
